The Center on Instruction is a gateway to a collection of scientifically based research and information on K-12 instruction in reading, math, science, special education, and English language learning. The Center on Instruction is one of five content centers serving as resources for the 16 regional U.S. Department of Education Comprehensive Centers.
In August 2001, the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), U.S. Department of Education, showcased research papers on key issues in the identification and classification of students with specific learning disabilities. These materials were compiled into a book edited by Renee Bradley, Louis Danielson, and Daniel P. Hallahan in 2002, Identification of Learning Disabilities: Research to Practice, published by Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, Inc. in Mahwah, New Jersey.
